Launching of 2065 TIME CAPSULE

Sabah Tshung Tsin ALumni Association will launch the time capsule project from August to November 2010. The time capsule is open to all alumnis as well as public to put personal belongings inside for their future generation.

The time capsule will be unsealed in 2065, in conjunction with Sabah tshung TSin Secondary School’s 100th Anniversary. We will like to allow alumnis to leave something memorable behind for future generation, as well as raising some funds for the New student hostel in Sabah Tshung Tsin Secondary School, Damai Branch. The income from the student hostel will indirectly help the school’s finances when it’s fully been utilised.

“喜相逢” 庆功宴

A Celebration dinner was held one month after the Xi XIANG FENG reunion dinner. Organizing Committee Members have had their dinner in NAK THAI restaurant on 13th March 2010. The night was filled with good food and good memories of the events organized. Thanks to all hardworking Organizing Committee members who made it happened.

适逢学校假期，沙巴崇正校友会想藉此机会与校友们聚一聚。特别租借了太平洋商业中心的一间戏院厢来让校友们一起观赏新上映的一部戏 “The Karate Kid”，由成龙及Jaden Smith等西方演员主演。校友会想藉此机会呼吁校友们带家人一起有个轻松的周末。

此戏将于本周日，13/6/2010，下午二时二十分上映。每张票只销售十零吉，每张票包括一个人的位子与一个午餐。午餐将于同间戏院的餐馆进行，由下午十二时半开始至二时。位子有限，有兴趣的校友，请于办公时间早上八时至下午四时拨电至088-232643或012-8033800来预约，以免向隅。届时也会公布校友会会员们新的会员优惠。

喜相逢晚宴（19th February 2010）

A bi-annual reunion has been successfully carried out under the leadership of organizing chair person Yee Shi Qin. There was 45 tables that night, and the audience were entertained by Tshung Tsin Alumnis’ entertainer. All the people involved on stage were alumnis of Sabah Tshung Tsin.

The evening kick off by singing the school anthem, it brought a lot of good memories while singing. Dinner was served then, and the stage were busy since then, “hip hop” dances, lucky draw prizes, Multi media presentation, basketball tournament prize giving ceremony, teachers spontaneous interview and the highlight was our Hakka Singer Mr Yee Tian Long, who was an alumni and recently released his own album. He brought us good 30 minutes of entertainment and the evening end with grand lucky prizes consist of Labtop, Home audio system and 42 inch TV.

The night was success due the active participation of alumnis. We donated RM 8000 from the event to ex school and the audience donated RM 6000 plus to the school. Because of this donation amount and 2008’s national elocution contest contribution to school, one of the new campus classroom will name after Sabah Tshung TSin Alumni Association. What a joy to be part of the new campus project.

Thanks to all alumnis who had played an important part in this event. May STTAA grow because of all of you !!!!

STTAA Basketball Tournament 2009

The Basketball Tournament 2009 has started on 7th November 2009 and will end on 27th December 2009.

The competition will be held every Saturdays and Sundays 4pm to 6pm at Sabah Tshung Tsin Basketball Court. The batches involved are 1995, 1996, 1999, 2000, 2003 and 2002. Do drop by and give your own batches some support !!!

This coming Saturday 4pm is a mini opening ceremony, do come and have a look when you are free.

Dear all alumnis,

the long awaiting reunion is here again!!! It will be held on 19th February 2010 (Friday) in Putera Restaurant, Tun Fuad Park. Attractive prizes to be won, 1st price is home theatre system worth over RM 2000!!! Ex teachers will be invited, top class entertainment by ex STTSS students. Nice big hall for mingling around. The only thing now lacking is your participation. Please do feel free to join us. Each ticket is sold at affordable RM 80 only. Part of the revenue will be used for new campus fund as well as funding teachers’ meal that night.There will be prizes for most attendance batch as well. Ticket is out now.
